Asher Heimermann is a conservative entrepreneur and photojournalist.
He has taken a keen and active interest in all areas of public service for decades.

On the eighth day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a protector." So God made a Fighter. God said, "I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, kiss his family goodbye, travel thousands of miles for no other reason than to serve the people." God said, "I need somebody to be strong, advocate truth in the midst of hysteria, someone who challenges conventional wisdom and isn't afraid to defend what he knows is right and just." So God made a Fighter.

Asher Heimermann grew up in a working-class home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. His drive to succeed and passion for service began at a young age. At age 10, he became active in politics by volunteering for the Republican Party of Sheboygan County and Republican State Senator Joe Leibham. He distributed campaign literature to nearly 2,000 homes. Heimermann’s political enthusiasm was featured in a story published in The Sheboygan Press. Before he graduated from high school, Heimermann had personally met with five Mayors, three Governors, a State Senator and a Congressman.

He started his first small business, Sheboygan Communications, in middle school when Heimermann began creating websites for local companies and not-for-profit organizations. His clients included Milwaukee Public Television, Above & Beyond Children’s Museum and ultramarathoner champion Roy Pirrung. Heimermann also started his broadcasting career by hosting a radio show on weekdays after school. In the summer, he operated a seasonal lemonade stand near Deland Park.

Heimermann became the first student at Sheboygan South High School to have a campaign website when he ran for Freshman Class Vice-President. When a classmate failed to step up to lead, Heimermann became acting Freshman Class President. During his tenure, he worked with his fellow class officers to find ways to engage students to be more active in the community and solutions to students rowdy behavior. Throughout his four years in high school, Heimermann was deeply involved in student affairs and even founded a student union and served on the Athletic Code Task Force, but his passion for serving was not limited to the walls of high school.

After being noticed for his ambitiousness at such a young age, Heimermann was offered an internship at the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce during his junior year at South High School. He had a front row seat to tourism and economic development in the county. As the youngest intern in the history of the Chamber, Heimermann gained expertise and inestimable skills while contributing his talents to help shape the community. And while his peers were playing sports, Heimermann had a coveted seat at the Greater Sheboygan Committee.

At age 17 and during his senior year in high school, he would become the youngest mayoral candidate in Sheboygan history when he declared his candidacy in November 2011. Heimermann and six other candidates challenged self-described alcoholic Mayor Bob Ryan in a recall election. Also during his senior year in high school, Heimermann developed a concept that would later become his most successful business yet, Incident Response. After graduating from high school in 2012, he launched his third business, a first-run newspaper. The digital publication would quickly become the second most visited news website in his hometown.

Notable alumni among Heimermann's graduating class include Ryan Sorenson, a socialist who was elected Mayor of Sheboygan in 2021 and Evan Bruan, a liberal Wisconsin State Assembly candidate who suffered a humiliating defeat in the Democratic primary in 2016 as well as James Steinbruecker, a Democratic activist and field organizer for Cory Booker’s failed 2020 presidential campaign. However, Heimermann would find success through his entrepreneurial endeavors.

In 2013, Heimermann would make Sheboygan history again by becoming the youngest candidate to run for a seat on the city council. While the outcome of the election wasn’t what he had hoped for, he was grateful to everyone who supported his campaign. He also explored a run for the Wisconsin State Assembly. However, Heimermann would put his political aspirations on hold.

After divesting the newspaper in 2014, Heimermann focused his attention to Incident Response and rapidly built a following on social media as he documented first responders. Over the years, Incident Response expanded from covering first responders in Sheboygan County to covering incidents throughout Wisconsin and across the United States. His work has been featured in local, national and international media outlets including CBS News, FOX Television Stations, Reuters, the Associated Press and the UK’s The Sun.

In 2016, Heimermann served as the News Director of Sheboygan Public Media. His wide set of skills in hyperlocal journalism allowed him to work across disciplines to ensure there was a comprehensive and consistent approach to local news. He served in that position for three years until the business was sold in 2019 to fellow entrepreneur, Dane Schaefer.

In 2020, amidst the COVID pandemic, Heimermann joined FOX 6 News in Milwaukee as the station's sole Overnight Photojournalist. In this role, he quickly became the market's distinguished photojournalist with an undeniable work ethic with a track record of proven high performance. Heimermann has been recognized for his exclusive coverage of breaking news stories, leading to record ratings and web traffic at FOX 6. He has captured dramatic video of firefighters rescuing victims from fires and police pursuits that ended in horrific crashes.

Heimermann practices teetotalism and resurrected Neighbors Against Drugs in 2021.

In 2024, Heimermann launched the Sheboygan Taxpayers Alliance to trounce racial liberal policies at the local level. In addition to being an outspoken critic of Mayor Ryan Sorenson, Heimermann called for new leadership within the Republican Party of Sheboygan County. He joined prominent local Republicans in calling for a dramatic change within the party. Heimermann's efforts to transform the party angered the County GOP Chairman and was publicly attacked for his endeavors. Rather than pointing fingers and assigning blame, a group was working behind the scenes to make change possible. Heimermann's efforts were successful in January 2025 when the entire leadership of the Sheboygan County GOP was replaced.
